Our EVOO
Four varieties,
one shared essence
Each Finca La Torre olive oil is born from a single place and a single philosophy: respect for the land, absolute precision, and a deep understanding of the olive grove as a living ecosystem.
From our estate in Andalusia, we craft monovarietal extra virgin olive oils that express the true character of each variety—Arbequina, Hojiblanca, Picudo, and Cornicabra—without artifice, shortcuts, or compromise.
Different profiles, aromas, and textures, all united by the same pursuit: excellence shaped by nature, guided by experience, and refined through every harvest.
FINCA LA TORRE HOJIBLANCA.
Deep, complex and
profoundly Andalusian.
Organic extra virgin olive oil with an intense green-fruit profile, revealing aromas of freshly cut grass, olive leaf, and green almond. On the palate, it shows a marked bitterness followed by a gradual, elegant spiciness, with subtle notes of apple and banana peel. The result is a balanced, persistent oil, rich in nuances—ideal for warm salads, white meats, and traditional Mediterranean cuisine.
Hojiblanca is a variety traditionally cultivated in the provinces of Córdoba and Málaga. Suitable both as a table olive and for oil production, it is particularly well adapted to calcareous soils and drought conditions. Its pronounced alternate bearing—alternating years of abundant and limited harvests—contributes to the singular character of this variety.
FINCA LA TORRE ARBEQUINA.
Smooth, balanced and enveloping.
Organic extra virgin olive oil with medium fruitiness, featuring clear notes of green apple and banana. On the palate, it is sweet and fluid, with a delicate almond nuance and a gentle spiciness. An elegant and approachable oil, ideal for white fish, steamed vegetables, and pastry.
Arbequina is a variety that has become widely cultivated in recent years due to its suitability for mechanisation. Its fruits are characteristically small, round, and typically grouped in clusters. The fat yield is medium, yet notably consistent, resulting in reliable productivity and a well-defined sensory profile.
FINCA LA TORRE CORNICABRA.
Intense, aromatic and
with a Mediterranean soul.
Organic and biodynamic extra virgin olive oil with intense green fruitiness, featuring aromas of apple, aromatic herbs, tomato, and artichoke. On the palate, it is highly aromatic and well balanced, with medium levels of bitterness and spiciness that provide structure and persistence.
Predominantly cultivated in the central regions of the Iberian Peninsula, the Cornicabra olive is characterised by its excellent adaptation to calcareous soils and adverse climatic conditions. Its resistance to detachment is high, making mechanisation more challenging. Alternate bearing—marked by cycles of abundant harvests followed by low or scarce yields—is notable; however, the variety is distinguished by its high oil yield.
FINCA LA TORRE PICUDO.
Elegant, balanced
and sweet at the start.
Organic and biodynamic extra virgin olive oil with soft green fruitiness, revealing notes of apple, green almond, and banana. On the palate, it is sweet and well balanced, with harmonious bitterness and spiciness that add depth without overpowering.
Common in mountain olive groves in the province of Córdoba—often interplanted with Hojiblanca—the Picudo olive is characterised by its great rusticity and high vigour. Production levels are generally high, although the variety also exhibits alternate bearing, with abundant harvests followed by years of lower yield. Its resistance to detachment and sensitivity to olive knot disease have limited its wider cultivation.
