Guardians of a Living Legacy
Our story began long before we existed as a brand. The land where Finca La Torre stands today was once part of Singilia Barba, a Roman city located northwest of Antequera. Archaeological remains—columns, fragments of an ancient necropolis, and even the old olive press (torcularium)—remind us that this place has preserved the culture and agricultural wisdom of more than two millennia.
Centuries later, during the Nasrid period, the Moors built the watchtower on Cerro del Cuchillo — the landmark that gave the estate its name. That tower, a timeless symbol of vigilance and protection, endures today as the emblem of our identity.
The modern era of Finca La Torre began in 1998, when the estate, then named Finca La Reja S.L., took its first steps toward organic and biodynamic cultivation. In 2010, under the leadership of Agrifutur Holding AG, a profound technical and human transformation began with a clear goal: to craft one of the finest extra virgin olive oils in the world.
Since then, our story has continued, harvest after harvest. In 2014, we completed the expansion of the mill, established our commercial department, and embarked on international growth. Today, Finca La Torre oils reach more than 25 countries — honoring the spirit of those who first cultivated these lands, and blending ancestral wisdom with contemporary innovation in every drop of EVOO.
